Stock Cars on the Aristocrat – 4/16/19
MVH Tuesday Night retro racers took their Stock Cars over to the American Aristocrat earlier this month. Seven racers went through tech with racing in the 4/4 format.
Ray Lee returned from his winter slot racing endeavors in Florida to rejoin the Tuesday night regulars. Unfortunately, a first heat kerfuffle launched him into the weeds and he had to go to a slightly slower back-up car. Peter Lentros and Dan Savage seized the opportunity to slip past him as the three of them opened up a lead on the rest of the field. Peter ended up taking the win by two laps over Dan while Ray was another lap back. In this week’s edition of the battle of the Richards, Richard Payne got the better of Rich Girvin in a tight race for 4th while Wayne Secore was able to put 10 laps on Dick Griffin at the back of the field.
Dan posted the fastest lap of the evening with a 5.278 while Peter and Ray were in the 5.3s.
