May Green Hornet Slotto! Retro CanAm B-Main.
Four different drivers lead during the final stint, with John Wimmet coasting by rookie Mike Mauer for the win.

Closest finish that I have ever seen, it was a hard driven race.

One of those rare moments that keep us all coming back to slot car racing!

Going into the last stint John was 3rd, about 4 laps off the lead, and Mike 4th about 5 laps down.
Was exciting to watch

That's about what I did on a Gr 27 EC race 1992 - then it was 8x5 minutes and my car was hunted by World Champion Lasse Åberg for 3rd place. My car had lost speed and Lasse was vastly faster. So even one second longer race and he would have passed me.
