As many know, I've been out of my popular CR014 .032" steel, coined guide brace, for awhile.

The reason was my guy, who did the original, formed / multi-level, stamped chassis guide brace, back in about 2006, lost access to a laser machine, when his company sent it out of the country.

Note, while this also affects the slow moving, CR015 coined gear guard, it never has affected my CR004, CR005, CR006 or CR022-CR028, laser-cut, steel parts.

Those have always been produced by a different vendor.

Anyway, he was nice enough to send me the coining fixture, he used, along with a bunch of parts he had laying around.

Some are perfect, some have small cosmetic issues that won't effect their use.

The coining fixture is absolutely ferocious, so along with being able to sell an .042" version of the CR014, in reasonable, but not unlimited quantity,  I will also be able to sell any of the flat parts shown, coined, along with being able to reform a stepped .032", delta shaped, guide brace, that was designed for the JK C11, stamped steel chassis, but isn't of much value for anything else.

I'll be listing stuff, as I get time, assigning them a "CO" (close out) part #, to aid ordeing.

You can PM me with orders, as I go, but note I will not be finished until I unlock this thread.

First Class shipping is $4.50, while Priority Mail is $8.25.

You can, of course, combine shipping,on different items, if you wait until I'm done.

I've tumbled everything, and it looks as good as it possibly can, but it will take awhile for me to sort it.

Time for one tonight.

This will probably be the most popular item.

CO1 Flat tongue. .042" thick. This was a popular item, 3-4 years ago. Sometimes known as the Edsel tongue, along with Ed Sohl, Tony P also used these. The post hole is virtually a perfect size for the slightly larger, Red Fox guide post.
Only $3.00 each.

CO1B Flat tongue blem.
As above, but with weird etching, for who knows what reason. Probably will provide a microscopically stronger solder joint.
Only $2.50 each.

C01C as above, but coined to use as a guide brace. These .042" braces are .5G heavier than the CR014 .032" brace. You can notch in the middle, or narrow the outside, to match the weight.
Only $3.50 each.

C01CB As above, but blem, with etching.
Only $3.00 each.

As luck would have it, my 2 coining dies, made by 2 different machinists, have 2 different coining diameters. The steel coining die, being the bigger one, provides nesting with the smaller diameter, brass one. Thus the steel brace is a great fit on my CR043 and CR051, coined brass nose pieces. In the case of using one on a JK F1 chassis, as you can see, the fit is spectacular, as close to perfect as you can get.
