Hey, Dennis, you beat me to it. We already booked a great looking place in Maestic Beach for the week.

We have an entire year to find more speed so we can keep up on Port Jeff's Gerding King.

Steve,

It even looks like there might be a few CR parts in that pile.

Port Jeff is the best.

If you order from them, you might be waited on by a couple of guys in the below pic, currently hanging in the Main Gallery, at the Slot Car Hall of Fame.

Aptly titled, "6 great Racers....and Doug".

Yep I definitely recognize a couple of those guys from todays visit. Hopefully get out there again with this pile of parts as a driving car. CR parts include a 2 degree tongue, motor bracket, bearings and a few brass bits. Came away with those parts plus pretty much everything except body and body mount tubes/pins.

I hope Retropalooza 11 is going smooth!

I've heard of Justin, his brother, & dad. He looks too neat to be a slot racer :)  Thanks.

Chubby also drives a slot car blindfolded pretty well (Sub 4 second lap Can Am on a King)  :shok: :)

Cheers

Another great Retro Palooza. Thanks to the team at PJ Raceway for giving us a great place to race and also for being able still host this great event. Even though entries were about half of normal racing was still fast and tight.

If you have never attended this event definitely make plans for next year. You will not be disappointed with the facility.
