Nice original clean build.

You are putting an lot of confidence in the down force of the body to get those skinny rears to hook up?

I love your approach to the wheel arch treatment.

This WHISPER talks loud and clear!

Brilliant build but is it a shelf queen?

Thanks Martin. The rear wheels are for display only, I’m positive Johns motor would just smoke those skinny tires! They will be replaced with modern foam tires for the track.

This is going to look great on the track. The wheels look like they match the front? Do you have another of the same to double up at the rear? give it that dually look.

Such a bold move to open up the front fender arches.

Nothing quiet about this Whisper.

That would be a great idea but I don’t have anymore wheels like that.

The wheel arches openings were a must because I had to make room for the tall wheels but I think it would benefit
the aerodynamics as well.

It was the only shot i had of the dual rear tires, but thanks.

You know the wheels you double up with would not have to be the same style, just the same diameter.

They would match the dual tires on the front also.

Obviously your choice, I just saw an design opportunity. Hope you do not mind?

That’s true they wouldn’t have to be the same. I’ll have to look thru my stash of rims.

Marinko, as always, your builds are amazing. You haven't lost your touch at all my friend. Simply amazing.

I use to race with Marinko back in the day at "Speed & Sport" in Lynwood, Ca., and Marinko built and painted the most beautiful cars. Some were for show, some were racers, but, they all looked unbelievable. Carry on.

Tom my old friend I thank you very much for the kind words and memories... Working at Speed & Sport back in the late sixties I had many opportunities to build some nice cars for Ron’s personal collection and for racing. You, Mike Condor, Earl Campbell, Ron Granlee as Mike and Bill Stube and many others made for some close and exciting racing.

I’ll keep building for as long as my health will allow!

Hope you are well my friend.

Thingies aren't really my "Thing" but if I was ever to build one I would use a Whisper.  That is just the coolest looking body I've ever seen!!  I especially like the cut-out front wheel wells, the paint is awesome too.
