Does anyone make silicone tires for 1/24 vintage cars such as Cox? I've a few that I'd like to run and urethanes and rubber don't do it for me.

Pro track makes a threaded axle version. Both Pro Track and H & R also have non threaded silicon tires.

A guy here in France, Bruno at slotcarstyres, used to make silicones, but has mostly changed over to urethane - you might contact him through his website and see if he has any left.

If you're just looking for tires to fit a rim try Super Tires and Quick Slicks. Cloverleaf Racing and Slot Car Corner both carry Quick Slicks. Here's Super Tires web site, look under "Specs" for sizes. https://www.supertires.com/

Thanks for the info, gents. The tires have to fit the stock rims.

I have a guy who does a great job, molding silicones on existing vintage rims.
How many pair are you looking to have done?

6 sets (2, 2, and 2) I guess? I've Cox Lotus 40, Ferrari and BRM F1s, and a Dino which takes a shorter tire that the others. I can supply the old tires for molds if need be. Thanks!

No side lettering, but it does have a profile.
Doing a smaller diameter is not a problem as long as you supply him with the old tire(like you said you could do)
They are $20 pair.
If interested, I'll have him PM you.
