Well in 2017 Don Siegel sent me this Very, very ugly wanna be thingie body, I never seen this much paint applied to a body.

History of this Very, very ugly wanna be thingie body is unknown.

Soon the body will be restored and a new mold made and the excitement of pulling some history.

This is the beginning of the restoration.

Roof line kinda reminds me of a German tank.  :laugh2:

Just out of curiosity Gene, how difficult is it to "fill in" those wheel well openings at the top before you pull bodies off of that mold?

Is it something that could be done temporarily and then removed for other bodies that one would want to have an open wheeled body????

Mike

The original body was an open wheel body and I'm putting the body back the way it was originally. Most likely no one will want one of these ugly bodies :cray: anyhow.

This original body may be the last one in existence as with the rare only one Savage Bat Body, except the VVUWBT body will be available.  :laugh2:

Now as far as closing up the wheel openings this can be done after the original female mold is done and cast a new plug with closed wheel openings .

With a body that has the wheel openings closed you will have to cut the body anyhow to allow room for the wheels unless you use 3\8" tall wheels.

V.V.U.W.B.T restoration update no.3

Out of the paint shop and a 3 day cure followed by a paint rub out.

Next step a female silicone mold so the resin plug can be cast after that clear bodies can be pulled.

Original body along side of the new master. Notice how over cut the rear wheel openings are.

I'd just call it "cute."  It reminds me of the GRC Spitfire from the 60s.

Right you are Gene,

Please keep the original if you'd like, I don't really need it.
