That's great Mike. I was not aware of any readily available chassis. What's it look like?

Mikey, that chassis appears to be well-built. When you say you did the body at 3;00 AM did you mean the winging & mounting? Or did that include painting the body also?

Hi Bill,
Yes, Dave does a nice job. He just loves putting these together, and I think he and Oliver bet a buck to see where I end up finishing whenever I race, LOL!
Just jokes on the body. That's an older King Race body that I picked up a few weeks ago that will be on a wing chassis at some point. King Race was awesome, amazing paint jobs! I've got another one I'll show somewhere else on the blog at another time.
I've got a JK Lotus 40 waiting to be cut, mounted and painted/detailed. To be completed Soon.
Keep your eye on this thread for more....and I'd LOVE to see other folks' jaildoor GP and Sportscars!

The "Grim Reaper" gives the body away. When we a local track (1996-2010), they sold a lot of king bodies. One of them had a side view of "GR" in black. Others had well-endowed women in black. The King bodies I have seen, have all looked 1st class.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

I can't make this race as I have a family event--imagine that! I suppose someone could use my cars.

Mike- if there is a way to lend your cars out, it would be appreciated. I am trying to get my son to start racing again, so i could use an additional car or two if he can make it.
thanks!

I will definitely be there so I could bring them with me. I will also have John's F1 that I used at the last race, my build should be ready to go.

Charlie, your 1st F1 Jail Door chassis looks real clean sitting on the jig. Do you have any plans to build a Can Am Jail Door chassis too?
