REHCO made these chassis using 4" pans & drop arm pieces from their American Line of brass parts & sold them for less than $20, Go back through some of the SARN issues & look. These chassis had a motor mounting bracket, probably for a C-can. On this particular chassis,that bracket has been removed, a 36D motor set on top of the mainrails, & a piece of piano wire soldered across the rails in front of the motor to hold in.This is just someone's modified chassis, not a rare prototype. Just because someone threw it in the "samples" box, doesn't make it a prototype either. In a nutshell, it's not worth  the asking price when made onto a "roller."

Especially when the seller says;
"I built it up with NOS vintage parts of the same period."
