Flexi chassis: front axle or no front axle?

Front wheels on Flexi chassis is what is killing this hobby.
One good crash, a bent axle or out of alignment front wheel, and you have a car that will continually deslot.
The best way to put a novice (or any driver) off slot car racing

If your rules allow it, cut off your front axle uprights.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Looks like Mr. Steve is out gunned on this subject. I believe fronts do have an application. I won our GTS race a few weeks ago, set fast lap by over a 10th with O-ring full contact fronts. So go figure. Accidents are the #1 issue, but I've done both fronts and no fronts. Steve has been very successful with his Pro-Track fronts.
