This has been getting fine tuned over the last few weeks and it is now ready to be released. The new Dominator Snake F1 chassis! Lots of cool things happening here. I am going to suggest to all builders to download the tutorial as it has some suggestions to help with the assembly especially installing the pin tubes.

Perhaps the biggest is the one piece motor bracket with 7/32" axle tubes supports! This is one beefy piece and also has a place to insert a 3/32" piano wire at the rear of the bracket. For those that want to save .3 grams I will be including a pair of 1/16" wheel collars that can be placed inside the holes for the 3/32" wire and a .062" wire can be used instead. I tried both of these configuration during testing on a Gerding King and lap times did not change nor did I notice a change in driving.
The center weight will be adjustable front to back or removable. The weight can be held in with 1/2" body pins. The tubing for the center weight will also give the driver the adjust-ability of changing how/where the body is mounted to the pans. I did test pinning the front of the body further back but did not notice a change in lap times. The car seemed more consistent utilizing the original forward body mount. I did not have a chance to test moving the rear body pins forward but that will be done towards the end of the month.
The pans are notched to reduce friction and vibration along the main rails.
The ready to race weight bring this in at 98.5 grams with the center weight. Removing the center weight will save 5 grams which I'm sure the west coast racers will like.
Price of this new chassis kit is $72 plus shipping.
