This is actually a Revell 1/32 Chaparral 2, or 2A if you prefer, NOT  a 2C.  I don't know why so many people get this wrong!

While just about every slot car manufacturer made a Chaparral 2 body, the only hardbody 2C I can think of was by Eldon in 1/32 and LS in 1/24.

The Chaparral 2 has upper rear fender scoops, the 2C does not !

The nicest Chap 2C model L&S.   With a dynamic s/w chassis you can mount them and use the full interior.

I just picked one of these up. With plans to add to the Chaparral 2 line up.

Did you build this one Matt?

Martin it's not mine, it's just a picture pulled off the internet.   I do have one and it is on a Dynamic 36D S/W chassis.    It would be even better with a 16D S/W frame.   It is a nice body.

After the LS model company went out of business in 1992, most of their car model molds were picked up by ARII, another Japanese model company.

They reissued the Chaparral 2C about 15-20 years ago under their own name, as well as the ex-LS models of the Porsche 904, Porsche 906 and the Ford GT40.
