I don't know how much coverage of this event I can provide from afar, but it looks like they're posting streaming videos to YouTube and Slotblogger Bernie Schatz has indicated I can snag any of his Nats pics from Facebook. So it's going to be rather difficult to give any coherent coverage. It's a shame this event isn't getting unified coverage somewhere, even if it isn't here at Sloblog.

The Wing Car Nats begins today with Group F and it seems there are ten entries in the class.

These are the Group F concours winners, but I don't know whose cars they are. Can anyone help ID them?

What an amazing win for Jason in Grp F, almost 50 laps more than last year and a 15-lap winning margin with a hand-out motor.

George, please, please, please ask whomever is inputting the names into the LapMaster system to enter full names, i.e. first and last names!

It's Shelby Thomas running the races today and the results I was able to look at for the Nats did have the names like you asked for. Our local races, if you look at those results, won't have both names.

Guys,

My apologies for being a bit behind on this coverage. Over the last two days I worked 22 hours at the train museum for a special event.

Will do my best to get caught up today to get the event info posted in this thread.

What's up with moving cars FORWARD after a track call? I thought you could only move them back!   :shok:  :pardon:  :unknw:
