It was a light night at Spare Time Raceway with only six participants racing Jalopy and NasTruck. After a three week hiatus, the track was rather slick and although it tightened a bit as the races progressed, it was still somewhat loose at the end of the evening. As such, lap times and laps completed were nowhere near record levels

The NasTruck race was a nail biter. Bob and Joe battled it out for supremacy. In the end, Bob finished with 81.3 laps followed by Joe, only a single section behind. James and Rich battled for the bottom step of the podium with James coming out on top about a lap ahead of Rich.

The Jalopy race was again a battle for the top spot between Bob and Joe. Going into the final heat, Bob was in the barn. Joe needed only 20 laps to overtake Bob and drove conservatively. In the end, Joe finished first with 84.2 laps with Bob second about a half lap behind the winner. Again, James and Rich battled it out for third. Rich was in the barn and James had two rotations left (blue and yellow lanes) with an eye on Rich. In the end, James fell short by about a lap.
