What car classes are we running and when does the raceway open on Saturday the 28th?

Light turnout for the first race of a shortened ORS KOR 2019/20 season. There were 10 Anglewinder, 14 Can-am and 13 F-1 entries. As usual Mark supplied a lunch spread second to none.

First race of the day was ORS KOR Retro Anglewinder class, with 10 entries ther was no qualifing, with 2 minutes on and 2minutes off race.

1st Greg Mayer,232.02 laps, best time 3.940 in Yellow lane. 2nd Bill Fulmer 215.16 laps, 4.153 in Blue , and 3rd Jeremy Dennis 215.08 laps, 4.224 in orange,

Concours 1st Thom Greene, 2nd Jeremy Dennis, 3rd Gary Echelbarger.

Next up Can-am and F-1 qualifying. Can-Am 1st Greg Mayer 4.088, 2nd Den Krivacek 4.168, 3rd Dave Simerka 4.245

F-1 1st Greg Mayer 4.181, 2nd Al Rutti 4.404, 3rd Dave Simerka 4.417

Can-Am B Main 1st Doc Dougherty 305.04, 2nd Jason Echelbarger, 301.08, 3rd Gary Echelbarger 291.

A Main 1st Greg Mayer 329.07, 2nd Jeremy Dennis, 324.09, 3rd Dave Simerka 318.15.

Concours 1st Earl Graybill, 2nd Jeremy Dennis, 3rd Thom Greene.

F-1 B Main 1st Jason Echelbarger 298.04, 2nd Eric Balicki 297.16, 3rd Doc Dougherty, 292.08

A-Main 1st Greg Mayer to finish the sweep but Al pushed him hard in this race to the last lap at 316.02, close 2nd Al Rutti 315.10, 3rd Dave Simerka 312.09.

Concours 1st Earl Graybill, 2nd Gary Echelbarger, 3rd Bob Fulmer.

Next ORS race 11/23/2019 at HMS Raceways on their Original King Track.

Keep 2/15/2020 race date open as MMW will be hosting a benefit race for Cindy McMasters that day, the classes have yet to be determined but it will be a mix of retro and flexi car classes with all profits going to Cindy. I will also be putting together a raffle for as much merchandise as we can get from the Slot Car community.
