Fellas,

Lou recently sent me a PM regarding our first DYNAMIC Challenge which took place in 2010, I guess it's as good a time as any to have DYNAMIC CHALLANGE II.

So we'll do it again, we'd like to see new/old builds if possible and progress reports and photos are welcome on this thread. This a "BUILD CHALLANGE" as there will be no on track racing involved. In addition there will be no prizes awarded, but you will enjoy bragging rights until the next build challenge !!!

As in the past, I'll be judging the challenge and will not be participating, hopefully we'll have several categories of Dynamic slot cars so everyone can build their own "special" Dynamic.

The deadline for completion will be sometime in 2020. I'll repost some of the original guidelines and have everyone look them over...Oh, and by the way it's open to ALL SLOTBLOG MEMBERS !!!

Thanks Lou !!!

Fellas,

The contest will be judged on the PHOTOS POSTED on this PAGE, so the clearer the photo the better.

Fellas,

Just like last time, GUIDE LINES no rules. Give me a couple of days to put them up, remember this event will conclude sometime in early in 2020...

Fellas,

A few of the suggestions from the first build up will be used in DYNAMIC BUILD UP II.

* We will have a HARDBODY CLASS for bodies 1968 and OLDER as well as a CLEAR BODY  DYNAMIC Class

* We will also have a CLASS where SOME SCRATCH BUILDING WILL BE ALLOWED using DYNAMIC PARTS

* We suggest you use as many DYNAMIC PARTS as possible on all of the entries

* Closing deadline for submitting entries (PHOTOS) will be early 2020 (JANUARY - FEBRUARY)

ANY QUESTIONS, SUGGESTIONS etc...

Just an FYI.
I was the organizer and rule maker for the first "Dynamic Challenge".
Even had t-shirts.
Rules were simple, at least a Dynamic motor bracket and the body had to be a thingy.
Not saying you need to Peter, but for clarification, is any body allowed?
And what percentage of Dynamic parts are required to qualify?

I've got a lot of Dynamic parts, and I know many of you do as well. I suggest we get a class action suit going.

Would this be legal? Not much Dynamic, the class was to use a Dynamic motor box.

This is a better choice as it has a lot more Dynamic components. Chassis, body and wheels.

I will take some more pics now that it has the correct motor, gear, wires and braid.

Fellas,

Great cars, all of them...but It's called "Dynamic Build Up II". We would really like to see new/old cars being built, that's not to say that these photos won't provide inspiration, we love seeing the older builds.

My car was built within the last year. If that is too old and you want new builds since you started this thread then say that.
