Wing racing is on for November 2

We have decided to drop the Phoenix Ltd race due to a lack of participation. So the schedule will be as follows.

1.    Phoenix Open

2.    One Motor Box

Raceway opens at 8 AM, practice ends 10 AM and we will take signups for the Phoenix class.

I just sent Debbie an update on the rules for the wing cars. Her web site shows rules years out of date

I just talked to Debbie and what we want to look at is after the wing racing is done, run two races on the flat track. ISRA Production and Expert GTP are the two classes we are thinking about. We talked about starting them in January. If you want to be involved in this, let either Debbie or I know or better yet, show up with a car and start practicing. Neither of us knows a lot about the rules for these classes so don’t be afraid to post here or call Debbie or me.

As I understand it:

Production: Flexi with G12 and Gugu’s body

Expert GTP: A wire EDM/laser cut chassis with a stepped wing body like we run Thursday. I think this is also a G12 motor. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I also posted this in the scale racing section.

Might be better if all comments for the flat track racing is done there

I redid the rules set for the wing racing and Debbie posted them. It is what we have been racing under, now they are written down and posted

On the USRA wesite I think if you look at the GT-12 and the Production 1 / 24 Expert class. I beleive this is what you are wanting to run on the flat track. This looks closes to what we ran in San Diego Track with flexis chassis and then LMP bodies on on the  Euro type chassis like slick 7 or  Dubic or what they ran up North. You Need to Talk to Mike Aguirre or Rick Linn,Tim Hould these were fun cars we ran in San Diego. I still have 3 cars if you you want to look at.

A stepped body for GT12? So like an LMP body?

Tim

The Motor I sold you to race in SD is a legal GT12 motor you could also run your OMB  motor but large arm's are better on the Flat Track
