Dennis, I haven’t forgotten. Got home very late Monday and wasted half a day Tuesday getting rid of Jay and doing some laundry. And I have worked basically three and a half days at the museum starting Wednesday morning. Posting this from the gatehouse while eating my lunch... Santa arrived via train today and it’s one of our busiest days of the year.

By the end of the weekend, I promise!

To our passengers from your tour guide:

I regret to inform you that our bus box tour has been postponed as our bus box broke down between NJ and Georgia; please be patient. :)

Cheers,

OK, I'm finally starting to go through my pics to sort out the pit box photos. I know I won't be able to ID every pit, so if you know whose box an unindentfied is, chime in to tell me.

Dennis Dominey's two-stacker set-up.

box.4.jpg

This is Rich Theisen's pit, which the racer to his right reserved before Rich's arrival with a piece of green tape labeled "The legend of Long Island." I told Rich it wasn't correct and that 'myth' would have been a more accurate word.

box.5.jpg

This is Greg Fox's pit.

box.6.jpg

box.7.jpg

Doc Dougherty's well-used slot car box.

box.8.jpg

Pretty sure this is Hip Culy's pit, early in the event. It got a lot less neat as the days went on...

box.9.jpg

Brian 'X-Pro' Cochrane's box.

box.10.jpg

Gary Clinton Jr.'s box. The outside of this box has some great graphics which Gary wanted me to show. It has a completely different color scheme, as shown below.

I think this is BIll Gerhart's well-organized space.

I dunno about that... maybe closest to the door, but you guys were just on the other side of the bathroom wall.

Probably a good thing that DZ had a short commute to the door, though...

I'm not one to use the bathroom at the track. It's better to hold it in so the gas has the proper marinating process before it comes out the relief valve.
