After seeing the results of my last one of these little guys, I was stoked to get into another one. The last one was based on some kind of (I think) slot car motor. This one was done starting off with a generic example, and I got busy. For this one, I increased the stack length to .300" from the other one's .250", and this is close to about the max reasonable length. Things start to get pretty darned tight, especially when welding the com connections as you can see. These things just whistle like nobody's business and make for a compelling powerplant for anything from a lightweight dragster to a road racer. Again, the wind here is a 38/27R and magnets are poly neos.

Believe it or not Pablo, these little guys aren't all that extreme. I might just build an "old school" piano wire perimeter chassis for one of them and stick some kind of slippery body on it...just because (*and despite my VERY limited talents as a scratchbuilder). I find small motors with big power compelling, and even as a kid was drawn to screwing-around with the Mabchi 13UO, albeit without much success. These are so much smaller than a 13UO it's ridiculous, and they are cheap-as-chips compared to the open and eurosports stuff.

Excellent motor John!
Now that looks to be one power packed, mighty mite motor!
I presume I need to pick a number and wait in line to acquire a few of these awesome motors - LOL
John - would these along the same size as your "peanut" motors?
Thank you for sharing.
