This coming weekend we will be holding the PASER race day on Checkered Flag raceway since its move to Bill's house in Vancouver Wa.
The track will be open for practice 8am Saturday with racing scheduled to begin around 4pm. I am expecting to see a good amount of attendance at this race.
We will be running PASER NASCAR and CAN AM rulesets.
Late Model Nascar
Scale: 1/24th-1/25 th
Years: 1980 to Present
Bodies: Replica of an American made “NASCAR” sedan no ASA cars
Drivers: Vacuformed or resin cast
Body height: 1/24th bodies shall not be less than 1 7/8” tall measured from ½” behind the windshield at the center of the roofline to the bottom of the chassis (air dams excluded) 1/25th excluded from this rule but must not be lowered at all.
Modifications: Bodies may be trimmed to remove part of the front spoiler and side air dams (to stock valence height for proper track clearance
Motors: Open Super 16D
CAN AM RULES
Motors: Hawk 7 or Falcon 7
Chassis: Any configuration, (inline, angle winder, sidewinder) Homemade or commercial. Chassis may be as wide as body will allow without stretching
Gears: Gear is NOT subject to tech clearance
Clearance: .055” back, .047” Front at beginning of race
Wheels- Front- 7/8” diameter min. ¼” width min.
Wheels- Rear- .900” min. diameter. up to .800” max. width
Bodies must have roll bar, 3D driver and 3D cockpit
Bodies: Bodies may be as thin as .010’.
All bodies must resemble a CanAm or Prototype race car from the body list.
If you have a body you would like to add to the list, bring it to a race and let everybody see it.
