Im putting together a couple of drag cars. These would it be just for fun and not for bracket racing or anything like that.

Ill be racing on a scale 1/8 mile drag strip. I plan to run a couple with phoenix motors because theyre cheap and fast. Ill probably run 1 inch to 1 1/8 inch tires. Any ideas on what the gearing should be? I know for a road racing the recommendation from Mid-America is 13/37. Buena Park when we race Flexi is on the king with Phoenix as we gear them 1336 14/36 or 14/37 depending. But that is for top speed on a King.

Id appreciate any recommendations for gearing, keeping in mind that its a short one 8th mile dragstrip and not the usual quarter mile.

16/ 50 around for a 1/8 mile, maybe 16/46 if you use 1 inch tires
