I have NEVER seen this mystery Thingie that appears to be a production RTR Ready-to-Run?
Also appears to be powered by an In-line Mabuchi FT36D.
Anyone know what this is???
Reminds me of and similar to an ad in a 60's Slot Car Magazine....!

Has a AMT Fantum/Bandido feel to it, but I have never seen a complete car.
......and I think it is 1/32 scale?

I've not seen that one either, not that I can remember anyway.
I like it...

HI all..
This thingie is easy to find at Top-toys in Italy. Now is a reissued thingie from an old one. I got it a few months ago. Fits an AMT chassy. It's called Speedy Thunder, reissued from old Ritrosi brand.
www.toptoys-italy.com is the place. I'm not making marketing with it. So tell me if not correct to post the web page to correct text.
Cheers

I like that body. If anybody is smart enough to order from this company, I would be in to share costs and get 2-3 of these bodies.

Cool! Web site says it is mounted on a Professor Motor repop AMT 1/24 frame -- it must have some kind of adapter for the body mounts because looks like it mounts with regular flexi body clips. Not sure I'm ready to pop for about $225 (200 euro), but it gives me an idea of how to use some of the AMT frames I've been hoarding.

They show the body only available on their website and I think it says they have 12 in stock. I may try to contact them and see if we can work thru the language barrier.

Speaks perfect English. I've met him at the vintage events in Roncole, Italy.

I 've always liked making replicas of rare slot cars...
This is the replica of the Ritrosi speedy , a very rare Italian thingie.
I gave the original to LASCM and I'm happy with a replica.
The materials are all original. Ritrosi used AMT parts with a chromed frame. The green painted engine has the Ritrosi (repro) labels, the polystyrene box is of the same size as the original and the silk-screened parts derive from the original. The instructions are good copies. The bodywork of the Cyclone, which was inserted in the original box, is still original too. The transparent body of the Speedy is produced in replica by Toptoys Italy.
Here the result ....

Riccardo,
Nice replica! I got that body through Matt D and Gene Adams a year back.
Can't find a photo of my build but I keep looking...
