I was thinking that those guys might be Lotus mechanics, as opposed to the Woods Bros pit crew?!?

I assume you were alluding to you knew they were the pit crew.
They are apparently the mechanics.
I thought they didn't exactly look like good ol boys. LOL.

Cool photo.
In any case, I'm particularly interested to know if anyone can identify that guy in the centre, with glasses on, passing Jim something.
Anyone???

I don't always go the extra mile, but when I do it's because I missed my exit.
All my life I've strived to keep from becoming a millionaire, so far I've succeeded.

The first picture is the car in '65. The second picture is the car as it was restored in the paint that my old boss attempted to qualify with it in '66 and also didn't make the field that year.
The third picture is Cap Henry playing in it..

Both my shoulders are stuck into the sides of the windscreen, and to get the wheel on I kinda had to stick my feet past the pedals to flatten my legs out, no way I could drive it at any attempt of speed LOL.
Very cool car, photo doesnt give it justice how incredible it looks with the original paint and body.

Perhaps Cap would have. But he actually didn't fit so well in the car. As small as Cap is, he struggled getting his legs under the steering wheel and his hips between the frame uprights in that area. That era car was made for horse jockey sized drivers.

Done by Ford, about Ford, yet Jimmy Clark gets equal time. Very classy.

I met Al Unser Sr. and Bobby Unser at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway about three years ago and couldn't believe how small they are. You always think of them as being bigger than life.

Kinda looks like the guy second from the right in the mechanics photo.
Yep, I think so, and who is he?
I'm lead to believe that he is a Canadian born race car driver, but trying to confirm.
Thanks.

Found this a little further down.
Left to right – Dave Lazenby (chief mechanic), Graham Clode, Peter Jackson, Bill McCrary (Firestone), Bob Sparshott, Allan Moffat, Jim Smith (car's Australian mechanic)
Beside car – Colin Chapman & Mike Underwood.
In the car – Jimmy Clark

Thanks, Butch, that semi-confirms for me.
Only hearsay in the comments atm, so would like more formal record to be sure.
Allan Moffat is the name I'm wanting confirmation on.

Pappy,
Exactly..And both Bobby and Big Al had driven the car we just restored. The car was actually bought originally for Bobby Unser.

Funny you bring this up.
Right after I watched the Lotus video, I watched one about Dan Gurney. Jackie Stewart was about to take a spin in Gurney's 1967 winning Eagle, and Jackie mentioned the fact that he would probably have some difficulty with the controls, given the fact that the car was specifically built for 6'4" Dan, who Jackie said, was the tallest F1 driver ever...
...and of course, they had to add that "bubble" to the roof of the Ford GT for Dan to fit.
