Was this chassis variation offered as a ready to run or a kit? If so. with what bodies? Any examples still in packaging?
Thanks,
Mark

That's the Super Spyder Porsche Carrera Mark.
I've had a couple used ones, and I think it was offered as an RTR, but don't have any new ones - doesn't the LASCM have one?
As far as we know only the Porsche Carrera came with this chassis, but a friend here in France found a McLaren with this chassis, that seemed untouched - normally, the McLaren Super Spyder came with a previous chassis, with brass tubes for body mounts, not the stamped gizmo.
More of these may have been released in Europe than in the States...

It's in the 1966 Russkit catalog: Russkit Super Spyder / Ready-to-Run Cars and Ready-to-Win sets.
The McLaren and Cooper are shown in photos, but the Carrera is just an illustration - will try to scan this page later today...

Hey Mark, the catalog page details a sidewinder. The photo is an inline chassis. Wish I could help you-
