Does anybody know what OD or ID and thickness the O-rings should be? Or a McMaster-Carr part number?

Thanks

Earl Anderson

I think most people just go into Ace Hardware with an existing one to match it up, or try a slightly smaller size.

That's what I did, until I bought a 382 pc.asst. box from Harbor Freight, for $7.99.

O-Ring Assortment, 382 Pc.

If the above doesn't work for you, I can check with Geary to get the exact info.

Mike, if you could, as I want to try and see if there are some made in America as the overseas versions deteriorate fast.

So if the size is available that would be great.

Thanks

FYI:  Parma used O-rings on the old rental Whisperjets. Buna-N (nitryl) belts were cheap, but did break. They ended up using the clear material belts to last longer. Not sure of the material - silicone or ? The extra loads of grinding two tire may be making an extra stress on the belts.

Earl,

Here's what I got from Geary;

The O-ring sizes are:

(2) 1-5/8 ID x 1-13/16 OD x 3/32"

(1) 1-3/8 ID x 1-9/16 OD x 3/32"
