Some of their recent kits include:
The Olds 442 and 1977-1978 Monte Carlo are all-new tooling 1/25th kits.
Salvino's JR has stated an intention to produce all-new Pontiac 2+2 (1986), Third Generation Dodge Charger (1971-1974) and Pontiac LeMans (1981) NASCAR kits probably before the end of the year, These kits will only have race car parts included and will not have a "stock" build option.
On Salvino's JR's Facebook page, they have posted a video hinting that the company may bring out a kit this year which would be somewhat of a departure from their NASCAR "Cup" kits.
You can view it --> HERE <--- Unfortunately there is some "dead space" at the beginning of the video so you may want to skip forward a bit.
For more information on Salvino's JR current products, visit their website or their Facebook page. The above video is all that is known at this time about their future products. They are very responsive- contact them directly with comments, questions or suggestions.

Cool.... more material for hard-body NASCAR racing.
Odd that they include 1/25th scale kits. All the Monogram NASCAR kits that I have, (and I have a bunch), are 1/24th.

Yes that is true, however 1/25th seems to be the preferred scale for hardbody racing in this area. 1/25th kits in general seem to sell better than their 1/24 cousins.

For model builders, the 1/25 442 has the wrong rear suspension -- he made an update kit available. Don't know about the Monte.

It would seem no one has watched the video or don't find the subject matter interesting.

That is a very cool looking modified.
How much of a market would they have for body only kits for slot racers at a reduced price?
With one or two non GM products.

MG models are outside of my realm of knowledge, but there was a SoCal racer Rick Salvino raced in the wing and retro scene. Do you know if he has anything to do with this company?

James I would suggest that you send them an e-mail for an accurate answer to your question. IIRC, the company made die cast models prior to starting the production of plastic kits.

I contacted Monogram a few years ago when they were located in the Chicago Suburb of Morton Grove to find out what might be available.
I basically was told they had no interest after losing considerable money with their foray into 1/32 slot cars previously. Certain companies sell replacement body kits for their RTRs but they are not cheap- usually about half of what the RTR costs.

James,
It is the Rick Salvino you are thinking of. I have been chatting with him for a year or so. his company will be doing the injection molding for our controller handle
