  The 2nd race of the 2020 Checkpoint Cup was F1 on the Flat track and 19 racers showed up to battle it out....

     Early on it was hard to tell who had an advantage as everyone was running well and moving up and down in the lap totals as every lane is completely different and Dale and Tracy went out about halfway with mechanical issues. Going into the last heat Gary had about about a half lap lead over Bryan on black but was on a slower lane, purple.  With seconds to go Bryan had closed the gap and tried to sneak by on the inside but didn't make it and came off and Gary ran to a well deserved victory!  Mill came home a solid 3rd. Great race!  Fastest race lap to Bryan Warmack at 4.40 (trying to catch Gary!)

The B main was a barnburner as you can see.  We all ended up with 291-- Dennis Samson took 2nd and the move up by a straightaway.   Fun race!!
