This Saturday February 8th will be race #2 for the FSCS season - Doors open at 9:00AM

First race will be NASCAR on the Tri-Oval @ 10:30AM

LMP & GTP to follow on Hill Climb track.

 

Both tracks are fast and in good race condition. 

Tri-Oval braid depth .035" - .040"

Hillclimb braid depth .035"

 

We will be having our regular wing car races afterwards so if you have a F Type or Group 12 car bring it along.

We look forward to seeing everyone for our first FSCS race of the year.

 

Safe travels to those making the drive over. Hopefully the later start will help with anyone coming in from around the state.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is sorry to hear that you won't be there. 

And I was planning on showing you how to really get an LMP car around that Hillclimb.  Oh, well, maybe next time.

The sad truth is, about the only thing I could show you and Aaron is how good I will be at courtesy blipping. LOL

 

I'm still wondering why my LMP car, at Melbourne last month, was a tenth slower than it needed to be.  The car was my NASCAR but with an Orca body.  My Avenger-center-with-aluminum-pans NASCAR TQ'd and was right there at the end with Dennis' car so I figured switching from a Titan body to Orca would drop my lap times by about 2 tenths, which would put me in the hunt.  However, my lap times only went down about 1 tenth.  Go figure.
