Can you people of this great forum help me out with gearing for these three retro classes?

Stock Car
Can Am
F1

Theyve gotta be different due to wheel size. *shrug*
Thanks in advance.

All three classes use .8125 OD minimum rear wheels and to answer the question we need to know what motor you are running. If It's IRRA®, and you are using JK Hawk Retro motors, gearing is pretty standard across the board, 9/28.

If you are racing RETRO rules, the Pro Slot FK motors are mandated 8T pinion and also use about a 28T crown.

Depends on the track, mostly 9/27 or 28.

For F1, CanAm and GTC most use 9/27.

For Stock Cars 8/28 for better control.

Thank you. Very clear and concise. Two crowns, two pinions to cover all three.

What Noose said.  Sometimes on a shorter track I'll bump the crown up a tooth

3 crowns, 2 pinions should cover most anything.

8 and 9 pinion, 37, 38, 39 crowns.
