I have a few of these modified, lighted idle gears in brass.

Were they made by Aurora?

Were they a part of the hop-up kit?

Or just who made them?

Aurora " Tuff Ones"  Why they did not do the same to the driven gear is a mystery.

Aurora made both the idler and driven gears with these lightened versions for TJets.  Here is the idler gear on the left, part #8319.  On the right is the smaller holed driven gear.  I ran out of the packaged lightened driven gears, but they were packaged in the same type of yellow card.

Thanks guys, I never knew about those lightened gears... but I stopped with T-Jets in about 1966, as I switched to the larger scales.
