One of my all-time favorite cars - thanks for posting! 

 

Those don't look like the original tires though, which were MRRC diamond-tread. What kind of tires are you using? I think that Ortmann makes repro tires for these cars.

Tires aren`t  Ortmann  are mint MRRC tires that I had in bag.

I think that originally tyres that mounted the RTR units were with "diamond" tread, but what I see here are " air " tyres by MRRC too.

It´s a quite plausible possibility, because many units start from its construction from the body blister and these tires are from the same era.

I've got the air tires on an MRRC 2WD Novi I just picked up - they seem to be original, but not sure what exactly they were used on, or whether they were only aftermarket items. 

 

Any ideas Phil?
