Dave,

You might try a 4 1/2" late model dirt car body, they always seemed long to me.

I'd like to see a picture of the 5" wheelbase chassis?

Dave,

You have to provide more info.

Like it was said, a pic of the chassis will help.

And what kind of body?

Vacuform?

Hardbody?

As I said in the PM, 5" is very long.

You might need something like the below.

I don't have a pic handy, but there are some 4.5" retro stock car bodies such as the charger and daytona that are pretty boxy, don't have pronounced wheel wells, and could be cut to go onto a long chassis. Your mileage may vary, as some of them may have been from Parma.

(example: https://parmapse.shp...ear-body?pp=15)

the next step then is to go to drag bodies, as the 5" doesn't seem like it's a stretch (no pun intended) for a funny car body.

Got it.

It's sort of a cool chassis.

I'll post it after my PO run.

Billy,

That's a very cool body.

How wide is it in the center?

The center, the narrow part is 2 1/8 in the front and 2 1/2 in the rear near the finder. the rear finder out side is 3 1/4 and the front is 3"

The car in the center is by Pablo.

Not sure if the below JK Cadzilla would work.

It's listed as a 4.5".

At least I'm 98% sure it would be wide enough.

PS - I made an executive decision, and changed the title of this thread.

Yep.

Interesting design. Nice spending on the main rails and how they wrap around the axle tube.

His solder work, not so much. LOL

A Mike "Pony" Poniotowski  has a Tucker mold and the Christine mold I think. I think he is on here but I don't know his handle. Maybe Greg can help  with that?

Thanks for reminding us of Mike Pony.

He just participated at a vintage race at my raceway, on Saturday, that Dave S. was nice enough to volunteer marshal.
