Just curious if any one has been racing these motors? How would you recommend gearing one in a flexi. We usually run on flat tracks with a .750 tire.

Thanks for your help.

Been running them at 13/36 & 13/37 with .750 tires. if you like Hawk 7's, you are going to love the Eagle.

Thanks Matt. What types of tracks do you run them on?

Chris

I have tried them on an American king, a hillclimb and a UK Black thus far.

Kind of depends on how long your heats are. They do get hot. We have different organizations. With 2 minute heats 13/33 34 or35 depending on track length and bravery. I would not suggest running them on 8v no load to test. My fastest one lifted a wire in practice. Fortunately it was spotted in tech and a friend loaned me a car. Now if my volunteer(drafted?) pit man had not put the wrong lane sticker on in the 7th heat a podium looked promising. Free labor, what can I say. My car on a King and an Engleman ran 13/35

the fast guys here are running 12/35 on a .670 tire.

2 min heats at 12.5 volts on a flat 135 foot flat track
