I was watching that video (again) and about 8:40 in it shows Dan Gurney go by and it looks like he's got a "K&B Aurora" sponsorship logo on his McLaren-Ford.

Terrible picture I know, but if you watch the actual video, it looks clearer.

I didn't know that brand did actual car sponsoring. I knew about Russkit and of course Cox, but not Aurora...

I know Dan Gurney was a tall man, but the McLaren-Elva in the photo directly above looks small. But several of the Can Am cars were small. I hadn't known about K&B's sponsorship before. Thanks Mark for pointing that out.

Steve

AWESOME!

 There it is, sure as heck!

I tried to find some online photos before I posted this thread, but had zero luck...thanks so much.   :good:

Bill

You are more than welcome; a happy accident, for sure.  :)

Everyone

Was there ever a series with better looking race cars than the 1960s Can Am stuff?   :heart:

As far as looks are concerned, the Ferrari 330 P4 rules all.

As far as badazz racing cars are concerned, the Can Am series rules.

YMMV

Dark blue. The car as it is today;

Ralph Salyer was the team owner at one time and ran two cars. He was not the driver of this car, chassis20-05, but rather chassis 20-06.
