Those are the cheap Parma rubber wheelie bar wheels, and the rest is all just hand made piano wire and brass...

Nothing fancy at all..

That may be a Summit wheelie bar, they have, or had? a couple of different styles.

Yea, they're really cool... got them at a place called Majestic Raceway in Brick. One of the best in it's day ! ;)

I have a couple of these, for some Drag Cars I Never Built.

Even have one still in it's Packet;

Yeah, these will work or you can go find some HO car axles, tires and wheels. Put the axle through some hinge tubing to make the casters.

 

Lots of possibilities for innovation. I have used a short length of plastic tubing as castors where I don't expect the car to stay in the air long. You can shop for single hole buttons or cruise the beading aisle for potential castor wheels with imaginative visual interest.
