Any of you computer guys know why it's not possible to make up a islotcar racing game online?  There is TONS of car racing online at this time, why not slots?

Is it possible to hook up a controller to a computer and race?  Would that help real slots survive?    Help people without raceways close by?

At this point it seems a logical progression.  Also it is a LOT smaller footprint than a full size sim & all the related hardware needed.

Somebody had a "Hot Wheels" slot car racing game years ago that came with two controllers.  The program itself was junk, but the controllers could be useful for what you're suggesting

Funny, I was thinking the same thing yesterday after watching the Indycar i-race.

So far the I-racing consoles have a chair, three monitors, steering wheel, and pedals - too much hardware.  How about a Virtual reality headset and a hand controller.  Car and track and controller set-up are all options of the event.

I know. Why don't we just go to a slot track and run our little cars. (After the lockdown) If the tracks are really busy, I'll bet that more tracks

will spring up all over the country. (didn't that happen once before?)
