Sad to have to report that noted slot car personality Jim Hahn of Oklahoma passed away this morning, according to a post made by his daughter less than a hour ago on his Facebook page.
I know a lot of the wing cars guys used Jim's excellent balancing, gear, and other slot car services.
No cause of death was given.
Here's the only decent picture of Jim I could locate quickly, shown with our mutual friend Bernie Schatz on the right.

"This is Kelli, Jim’s daughter we are having a viewing for Mr. SpeedSpur. If you want info PM me or him I have access to his accounts on here. If you want to send anything let me know. I know they're not sending flowers to the service, I would have to pick them up and honestly that will be too much right now. Cards, encouraging words, phone calls though out life would be loved and if you just have to send something gift cards would be more better at this time do to what the world is going through right now. If you need address I will send it to, I know must of you probably already have it, thank you all for being a part of my dads life, he had a great one, especially if you have people you enjoy living it with you."
