I bought an APS Dyno about a year ago. Trying to find an alternative to the Trinity Monster Machine dyno. I copied the aluminum piece the holds the motor from the Trinity dyno to use on the APS. Motor sits back further on the APS compared to the Trinity. So I got a piece of black delrin and made the piece for the motor shaft so that it can read the RPMs to the motor. It has three functions for motors

Motor Test
Motor Break-in
Motor Data (can store up to 10 motor test data)

All in all it does the job but lacks the parts required to run slot car motors.
If you can make the parts needed it should fit the purpose.
Runs motors at 8 vdc just like a Trinity.
Has pulse break-in option. But can chose to break in at a set voltage just like Trinity.
Stored motor data just like a Trinity
Trinity has a few more features. I've only played with #2-#3 and motor data on the Trinity which are similar to the the features on the APS

Hope you enjoy.
