I had this set up in 1965....the first time I ran the car around the track, it scared the crap out of me because it was so fast

We ran these when I was a teenager. There was a club that would set up a temporary track in Palos Park. My grandfather
raced them when I was very little, mostly in the Canoga Park, Ca. area, but also raced at a track in one of the south Chicago
suburbs. Possibly Downer's Grove. I sold the other two I had, but kept this one because it has never been run. The motor
is .19 size.
I quit when I started R/C car racing.

Not a true diesel racer, but you could make a balsa McCoy motor and add a Pittman motor for power and thump around the track. Could be a fun race class on a oval style track.
