In the interest of complying with the guidelines, I have a question. If you put someone a lap down, does that count as social distancing?

Sure I have a retirement plan, I plan to build and race slot cars.

Do we need to make new drivers for our cars, too?

it is good to see real and slot car racing happening again.

I believe in moving forward that everyone will be doing the best to be safe. the "pros" of course because it is their profession and the big $ and glory.

the slot racing, I hope everyone will be doing it safe. there is no big $, some make a living from it, most of us it is a hobby with some glory attached to it.

for me there's no making $, it is not my source of income, and no glory ( I'm not that good to be winning races )

so I will not be racing, but will be a fan following the real racing and slot racing

and am grateful to have shared the same track with some of the pro slot racers from the 60s and 70s

I'm a master of social distancing--I'm usually 30-40 laps down!

Social distancing comes naturally for me. I fart dust. My mother was a hermit, and I'm a hermit.

But I love going to slot car raceways. I have no fear of slot car people - they are the best people in the world  :sun_bespectacled:
