Bag 1 has a white 42 tooth gear and two brass side pan or body mount pieces and an odd looking black plastic piece. I was thinking maybe MPC but no idea really.

Bag 2 is marked made in Japan, has two long strips of braid, an unmarked wrench, and \two metal gears. Also have two early '60s type motors that are missing brush connections. Not sure if they were just train motors someone was trying to adapt or not.

Lastly some black plastic parts just shy on an inch tall that were in with other slot parts, but may not be slot related at all.

Any ideas?

Thanks for any help.

The first one definitely MPC, with the brass side pans and front wheel brake, the second one maybe Revell, not sure. Last pieces don't look very slotty to me...

Thanks, Don, for your help. Any idea on which MPC kit the first bag might have gone to, or could it go for different ones?

I only have one MPC car, a Pontiac GTO so I may toss in it that box at least for now.

I've mostly seen those pans on the Mako Shark, Ed, but don't have access to any mint kits, so don't know for sure.

Last photo may be Strombecker track supports.

Thanks, Gary. I was thinking track supports for some brand or another too, although they seem they might be rather short for that.

The two small pieces on the rights are angle supports using black plastic tubing from Strombecker. Not sure about the "feet."

The brass MPC sidepans fit the aluminum sidewinder dynocan chassis as does the gear.

Definitely Strombecker track supports and Tradeship made some part bags like this also.
