Trackmate was running fine. We tried to set it to automatic. Then when we went back to race, it locks when it is supposed to calculate the ET and other date. Says the class doesn’t match and then closes the program. I can’t get it set back right! Ideas?

is this the DP2000/DP3000 drag software, or the Trackmate Slot car racing software? And which version is installed?

I don't think I have an installed copy handy, but I have set both up for the local raceway. There's nothing rocket-sciencey about them, but they are really particular about their settings.

I will be glad to assist if I am able.

Check to make sure the log isn't filled with runs. Once the program reaches the maximum, it will stop showing data. Clear the log file.

It's the DP3000 and I'll bet the log is full. This was once my track... then it wasn't my track... now it's my track again but I haven't cleared anything. So I bet that's it. Now... to remember how to do that! LOL.

Five years never seemed so long as when you put your hands back on a track you used to know inside and out and find it doesn't even remember who you are!

At the top right of the screen, click on "View". Then click on "View log". When the window opens, in the upper center click on the button "Clear data".

Why don't you email Daniel at Trackmate?

When I was having trouble getting my Trackmate going (because of my unfamiliarity, and not 100% idiot-proof instructions) he returned my emails in 24 hours, or so, or in one case, called me within 30 minutes.

Trackmate Fixed

Calling or emailing was on my next actions list after removing and reinstalling. That actually did the trick. Sometimes software can get lost on the hard drive I suppose. Moral of the story, DON'T LOSE YOUR INSTALLATION DISC.

Which reminds me that I need to call the previous owner of my Engleman and see if he has the disc for the trackmate on that track. I'm sure it will take a turn eventually and need a reinstall.

In the meantime, I appreciate the different ideas as it made me learn more about the software trying to repair it. Which is what I needed to do. But the drag is running fine now. Thanks again to everyone.

You may download the latest version of the Trackmate software here: http://www.trackmate...r-software.html. The prior version is also available for download.

If I recall, the installation and operation manual is inside the ZIP archive that the software is contained in.

That's thirty minutes away. I'll be there in ten.
