                                Atlanta Slot Car Invitational  Saturday August 22 


1st race 4” flexi starts at 3pm (rules below)

2nd race LMP Box Stock (ASCR Rules)

3rd Race Box Stock F-1/Indy Car (ASCR Rules)

Track bucks for 1st/2nd/3rd place $25/25/10

Race Fee $15 per race if you race all 3 classes $40

We will qualify for all 3 classes


3-minute heats 


One and done race format 


  • All cars must pass technical inspection prior to racing. Cars will be impounded following tech. 
  • Cars must pass generally-accepted rules for max width (83 mm or ~3.26"), max height , min rear clearance (0.047") , and .010" front pan and center section clearance with car resting on tech plate. 
  • Each car must have a painted body with three distinct decals or painted numbers. 
  • No part of chassis may be visible when viewing car from above, except open-wheeled cars
  • A painted driver, plastic or paper, is optional


  • 4" commercially-available stamped metal flexi frame. Manufacturers include JK, Mossetti, Champion, Parma, RM Racing, or Kelly & ProSlot.  F1/Indy class must use a JK Products C30 (narrow) or C35 (wide) F1/Indy flexi frame. 
  • No frame cutting, may solder motor in place, motor brace permitted. Pin tubes permitted.
  • Commercially available light pans permitted
  • May use lead weight
  • All series require a JK Products Hawk 7 motor, Mid-America Eagle, or B-52 (50K) motor. Motors are factory sealed and therefore unopened. The Eagle motor must retain its original "EAGLE" motor tag to be legal. (Mid-America states successive versions shall have the motor name etched on the outside of the can.) 
  • 3/32" solid rear axle required. Flatted axles are permitted.
  • Bushings, oilites, or ball bearings permitted at rear axle. 
  • Front tires are optional except open-wheel racing. If fronts not used, car must have front-wheel decals in place. If used, 3/8", 1/2", or 5/8" fronts, including stubbies are permitted, but not wing car thingies. Open-wheel racing must use JK F1 fronts, minimum diameter .750", with full solid axle.
  • Currently approved and commercially-available 4" body appropriate to body style being used in a series. The minimum thickness shall be .007".
