What are some good, portable, intense lamps to bring along with ones pit box?

Fold out LED would be good

We built our lighting into the design of our pit boxes

I picked up one of these a few years back from Michael's.  The 40% off coupon helped with the price.  It folds up nice and small so it doesn't  take up much space in my box.  And has a USB card for charging.  I plug it in to a phone charger.

I have a cheapie gooseneck desk lamp, and replaced the regular bulb with an LED that's 100 watt equivalent. Only take it when I go to actual races. It's floating around my trunk the rest of the time.

The OTT lights are hard to beat for their convenience.

A couple of these were in goodie bags this year and I have one too for myself.

Thanks. good suggestions. I realize I could let my mouse do the walking but, I always like to see what slot racers in particular are doing.

Which brings up a perhaps related topic

There has been pit box threads but, has there been a coolest pit box thread / contest. Highly subjective, of course, so we'd have to vote on it for what that's worth.

Go on amazon and search sewing machine light, these are way cool compact and mount to anything with little metal pieces that stick wherever you want then light has super magnet to hold, comes with multiple metal discs so you can have multiple locations and it only costs 10 bucks

this is a picture of my pit box with a detachable led light strip. it's suspended by two pieces of .078" wire, hinged on top of the box & collapses for storage. i found the led strap at an electronic surplus store for 10 bucks & the power adapter was about 6 dollars. it plugs directly into the strip, no switch. i also use an ottlite gooseneck light for additional light.

I ordered one and love it.

Thank you for the advice.
