Thanks John for doing these interviews, we get to virtually sit in on the conversation and understand what motivates other folks in our hobby.

I am a 1/24 scale builder and never had sets. So my passion started with commercial routed tracks 1967-1970.

I did build a fully landscaped Scalextric track 4'x16' in the 90s for my son and friends. It was fun, couple of issues the joints and the temperature distortion was always an issue. I even had 1 and 1/2" of extra width so you could hang the tail out.

So I love the scale rivet counting of 1/32 builders. Is there a group similar in 1/24 that you may of herd of?

1/24 scale just make sense to me, you can add way more detail in chassis design and driver / interior etc. paint.

So I question if I chose the wrong scale, but I am in too deep now.

Martin, my pleasure!

I can't overstate how pleased I am that so many folks like yourself are viewing and enjoying these 'chats' as much as I enjoy having them!

Our hobby is so many things to so many people and I really learn so much from hearing how others enjoy slot cars!

Thanks so much for watching and for your wonderful post!

:)

John

Martin, John has a number of 1/32 construction videos on YouTube. They are how I first bumped into him about five years ago.
