Four-lane painted Carrera track with copper tape an adjustable power supply. It's the club track for the Rocky Mountain Slot Car Club. Hardbodies for the most part, no magnet racing, 1/32 and 1/24 with silicone tires only. No thingies.

Are you using  Carrera 1/32 & Scalextric type Hardbodies or 1/24 scale model Hardbodies. If you are running these type of 1/32 why no magnets and copper tape. Just curious. I am going to be setting up a carrera track.

Thanks

REAL slot cars do not use magnetic traction crutches. Our Great Lakes 1/32 Club has 9 no magnet tracks including two Carrera plastic tracks.  Better tires and a bit of lead mass in the right places is all you need.
