Does anyone have any experience with these?

We tried them in a club I belonged to when they first came out. Very difficult to drive, and had problems with plastic pinions coming loose on the shaft. We had sworn off magnets, and the bikes were totally undriveable without them, so we were forced to use them as sold. Interest just waned and we quit running them.

Thanks Dave,
I really appreciate the feedback. I was about to buy a pair just because I like the look of them. Sorry to hear that they drive poorly. You save me a nice chunk of change.

They are, just like the cars, beautiful shelf models. Very fine detail, and above average graphics. From that standpoint, worth the price if you are really into GP bikes. But why put a motor into something if you aren't going to run it?
