Isaac,

We've already posted a few scans of old articles that listed RPM for 60s motors - try a search on the site to see if you can find the old threads. You've actually got a pretty complete list there: anything besides the Kemtron you're missing?

Just looked at a couple Kemtron motors: unlike Pittman, they don't seem to include a spec sheet with their motors.

The H&R Hawk is 18k RPM rather than 19k shown. I have one at hand.

Okay great to know, I'm missing some Classics and all the Rams. Must have been a typo, thanks.

Is the Pittman 706 RPM measured at the geared output?  The 703, 704, and 705 are similar  in size and setup as the Ram 426 with built-in gears and axles.  The Ram 283 is also a sidewinder with a smaller arm like the Pittman 65 series.

Yep, certainly measured at the axle Larry - it's slow but not 5,600 rpm slow!

I'll see what I can find for the Kemtrons & Rams.

Isaac did an amazing and time consuming job listing these motors. Thanks for putting it out there for us to use. I'll have to check my old Kemtrons  :)  and other padlocks to see if I can find any old spec sheets. Which Classic motors do you need specs on?

Pro Slot BOW X- 18,050

???

Best of the West?

I don't think Monty ever wound a motor that "slow".

It must be well used, or blown.

Isaac, do you mean the CM460?

I have a CM250, an endbell drive 36D with heat sinks, but don't know the CM260...

Don,
Or a CM360, can drive 36D?

That was a common motor as a mild hop-up, for the Cox mag frame chassis, at my local raceway.

How did you get your own figures Isaac? From charts, motor spec sheets or your own RPM checker?

There's a lot of info there!

I need to dig my Bonner motors out of storage and do a modern test.  The motor was intended as a 3 VDC escapement motor and the 'test' shown was at 5V.  I know they were faster than my inline Pittmans, but the brush spring would overheat running on 12V during racing....and I had to gear them to scream.  I have an optical RPM meter.
