Racer Mike Willard has been working on a number of "Throwback" schemes for his ProTrack 612S - based racing cars. The paint schemes are on .020" clear bodies made by S&E Raceway. S&E offers a Toyota Camry, Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Mustang and Dodge Challenger in their line. Contact S&E if you have questions about their bodies.

The bodies were painted for use in Upstate Speedway's Thursday and Saturday Stock Car class. Full rules and technical specifications can be found on the Upstate Speedway website.

 

Some of the bodies shown here are all paint and some use custom cut vinyl graphics. Mike does sell bodies to people participating in the racing at Upstate, but I do not have information on availability or prices.

A group of nicely detailed bodies. Close racing for the first three finishing positions, only 6 laps separating them.

 

As the class grows, the racing will only get even better..

Wonderful NASCAR paintwork! Great detail! Must be a fun class to race. Looks like you may have a minimum height and tire size rule.

Yes, it's a pretty tightly-managed class. We want to keep the authentic look and make it a true "stock" car class. Drivers can choose gearing but motor, tires, and a limited selection of bodies are required.

The UPS car had it's first race last night.  It was a rough night for the UPS driver.

 

Several collisions into the wall without brakes made for a fast introduction to Stock Car racing for the new body but, with a little TLC and a piece or two of well placed tape she will see another race. 

 

The Mellow Yello car is awaiting our upcoming series with the hopes of winning a few points for her good looks.

 

All but the Quincys car were sold to Upstate drivers and I'm confident she will also find a loving home soon.
