Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Yesterday saw the Grand Opening of Piranha Speedway and many of the SoCal slot racers came down to check out the awesome facility!  I was only able to get a couple pics as I spent most my time trying to get around the tricky but very fast flat track!  I'm sure many more photos are by now posted on Facebook!

Rich Curnutte was also kind enough to provide all the racers with a lunch of sandwiches and drinks!  Many thanks to Rich and many others who put in so much time and volunteered so many hours to bring this effort together!  Many thanks to Sam Rackham,  Bill Vanderziel,  Andy Staypars,  Joe Gallagher,  Bill Taylor,  Gary Gerding and I'm sure so many others!  Thanks guys, great job and we can't wait till the racing begins!  :good:

Bryan, thanks for the pictures and review.

Yeah, Rich and the fellas have brought a first rate facility to So-Cal racing. I didn't get on the King, but, that flat track is AWESOME!

Takes a bit of practice on that one.

The drag racers seemed to like that 4 lane strip a lot.

Very nice facility. And thanks for lunch Rich! A hit all the way around.
